You got me anyway….

My first recollection of the Team was when I was about 10 years of age. I used to go before that, I have been told by Family, but cannot remember. It was the 1964-65 season and we got relegated. I was gutted! I could not believe we had gone down! It has been a roller coaster ride ever since. What happened then, I have since realised, was that the Team had "got me" and have had me ever since. Seasons come and seasons go but nothing has changed in my opinion! Yes, the Players have changed Managers, Owners and the Ground but the feeling is just the same! They are my Team and always will be! So you can raise the Ticket Prices, add your Booking Fees, change your Phone Number, change the Shirts as often as you like, patronise me as much as you like, I don't care! Why? Because you "got me" over 40 years ago.

 You haven't got to try and rip me off I am easy pickings! I will be going 'til I go in a box. I will give you a Direct Debit for life if you like! Just take as much as you like you do anyway! You can say it is my choice I have not got to go but you are wrong! You "got me" lock, stock and barrel!

I pick the Team every week along with thousands of Fans. I have got my opinions about the Manager and the Players as well as the Owners and Crew. You can listen to them any time you like over a Pint or two! You see, that's all the voice we have got in the Boozer and it has been like that ever since I can remember. I will buy a few Shares along with the rest. Why? Because as I said before, you "got me"!I am not the only one the Team has "got". There are thousands more like me, with quite a lot of Hatherton people amongst them. It has been decided not to charge a fee to join or travel with the Hatherton Wolves anymore. Why? Because we have "got you" just like the Team and they need your money more than we do.

This Web Site has been designed for the Fans of the Team. If you have got anything you would like to say, e-mail or write to the Hatherton Wolves and if we think it is constructive we will post it on our Message Board. I am sure that the People who matter will read it!

So, my message is, if you are like me and the Team has "got you" send your Credit Card number straight away not to go towards Players wages and Team building, no, you can take satisfaction knowing that you have contributed towards the £1 Million Pound refurbishment of the Jack Hayward Suite currently enjoyed by our Corporate "Guests".
