Who are Hatherton Wolves?
Hatherton Wolves were the largest independent supporters club in the history of Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club. The club was formed in February 1988. The name Hatherton arises from a local Tavern close to the ground, the Hatherton Arms, which was originally where a lot of the Wolves supporters who founded the Hatherton Wolves gathered before and after Wolves home games. Nowadays they tend to meet in the City Centre with the Moon Under Water and Goose Public Houses being popular venues. The Hatherton Wolves name remains however we are no longer a Supporter's Club.
Having said that we arrange Coach travel to every Wolves game. You will also find Hatherton Wolves members following The English national team where our St George's flag is frequently seen. We are without doubt one of the most loyal Groups of football supporters in the Country.
Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club is steeped in history. There have been good times and there have been bad times but through the good and the bad Hatherton Wolves have been there and will always continue to do so.
